Project philosophy

For projects to be successful they must be thoroughly prepared. This means that a broad commitment is needed and that time necessary to obtain real results is allowed. The right project start is key. It is essential to a successful goal fulfilment, reduces the consumption of resources and shortens the project lead time.

The goal formulation is the main steering instrument. The goal is expressed as the sustainable result that the project shall lead to. The goal must be measurable.

Working on a project requires co-operation. First, it is important to create a consensus on the goals of the project as well as on its methods. All parties, such as the sponsor, project leader, project members, line organisation, investors, recipients and company management must share the same expectancies for the project's end result.

We summarise our project philosophy in three words:

• Simplicity allows for all parties to rapidly comprehend the project's contents.
• Clarity creates consensus, understanding and acceptance of the project goals and methods.
• Courage is about the ability to make decisions and have the moral strength to be honest and question things in time.
